Funny Japanese Commercials

I love Japanese commercials. They're creative, entertaining, and you don't feel like you're watching commercials! So here are some recent favorites of mine.

[edit] forgot the page break!!

A commercial for a video game.

This commercial is for a grocery store, saying the overall prices of everything are lower. The joke, for those who don't understand japanese, is the word Basu-Pura, short for Basuketo Puraisu (Basket Price). Basu is also the word for Bus, and Pura is a type of dance, like they're doing on the bus. Even if you don't understand all that, its still funny, being set in the countryside and all.

This is how McDonald's is advertised in Japan. 'Nuff said.

So this isn't actually a commercial, but these two kids are the current darlings of television. They're appearing on everything, and this is the song/dance they always do. The little girl is very grown up in her speech. Her Japanese is way above my level and she is only 6! And adorable.

And finally, my favorite~

I can't get over how funny this commercial is. Its for instant noodles if you couldn't guess from the commercials.
This is a perfect representation of why I love Japanese TV. Nothing makes sense, but you still know whats being advertised~

Yay chicken dinner~
